  2. Love Will Bring Us Back Together is a sure thing for the dance floor. Simple and Sweet is special for its mysterious brass arrangement, and Is It Too Late to Try? and If You Love Me are two of Roy's gorgeous ballads. There's more, but that's enough for me to make this a valuable purchase because I still play those Roy Ayers records.

  5. A great little album by Roy Ayers – one that features none of his hits, which means lots of fresh material – and which has great examples of both sides of Roy 's talents at the time! The dancefloor side of Roy kicks in with "Love Will Bring Us Back Together", an extremely catchy groover that's very much in the mode of "Running Away", with plenty of choppy funky riffs, and a good soul base.

  8. Roy Ayers is an instrumentalist who took his knowledge of music and made it greater than it was before. Blending Jazz, R&B and synth together created a sound that he could truly call his own. A couple of these songs I had totally forgotten about, until I heard them after all these years past/5(23).
